Artist's notes
"These paintings take an enormous amount of time - each line of colour is taped out, masked, painted, and then the next is laid over it. Since some of the lines run over others and some run under, each line needs the relevant overlap masked off as well. If nothing else it's just a real headache keeping track of which line is overlapping which."
